Lola's bed was a special place - her own private kingdom (well when she wasn't sleeping on op of a load of cushions she'd piled on the sofa).  As a pup she slept in all manner of weird and contorted positions, it never seemed to bother her but we had to sometimes fold a blankie up under her little head to prop it up.  She often spent ages getting it "just right" - this would entail lots of pawing at the cushioning to get it in the right place.  Sometimes her mummy would tidy the bed and put a nice folded blankie on it or a cushion, this would not impress Lola.  She'd give a look that said "thanks a bunch mum, I spent ages getting it right now I'll have to start all over again" before proceeding to toss blankies and cushions out with her little schnauzy nose.  She'd then plonk herself down on the most uncomfortable looking pile to make a point - even if it meant she'd end up sliding under the furniture and got stuck.  She'd often take a little toy to bed with her (bunny was a favourite) and then fall asleep with the cutest little schnauzy snore.

Miss you little boobie, when I sleep downstairs its too quiet without you being there.
